DENVER, Colo. -- Arrest warrants have been issued for two people accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars in cash and belongings from 10 senior citizen victims in Colorado.

Colorado Attorney General John Suthers has a 13-count indictment against 26-year-old Javon Ristick and 27-year-old Erik Burt.

Ristick and Burt allegedly entered the homes of elderly Coloradans in Arvada, Colorado Springs, Denver, Golden, Lincoln County, Lakewood and Strasburg by acting like neighbors or relatives of the victims and asking to use their bathrooms. Ristick is suspected of distracting the victims through conversation while Burt found and stole cash, jewelry, collector coins and other items.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Ristick and Burt with bail set at $500,000 each.

The Office of the Attorney General investigated and obtained the indictment for Ristick and Burt with the assistance of the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, the Adams County Sheriff's Office, the Arvada Police Department, the Lakewood Police Department, the Denver Police Department, the Denver District Attorney's Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
